Percentage of Aluminium in cement

 In cement aluminium is present in for of alumina (Al2O3) which is approximatly equal to 3-8% of weight of cement 

application of aluminium present in cement 

it imparts quick setting property to cement 
 
it act as flux and help in reducing clinkering temperature
 
if in excess it weaken the cement
