In this blog, I discussed some of the working principles of DGPS(Differential global positioning system)
The following are the working principles of DGPS:-
- The position is determined by the distance from at least five satellites in differential GPS.
- The satellite-to-antenna signal travel time establishes the distance.
- Base station calculations are based on the difference between the location's stated coordinates and those provided by the spacecraft.
- The base station sends a signal to the DGPS receiver or rover constantly in this differential.
- The rover precisely pinpoints its location using this similar difference.
